    ZX5180 eletrical problems. Is this common?

    Hey there,

    HP is tell me that I may have to send in my laptop for service which will take 5-7 biz days. Ugh.

    This is just part of a string of eletrical problems. Bad battery a couple of monthins ago and now it has a hard time running off AC power after it has been sitting overnight.

    Anyone else have anything similar happen to them?

    I haven't seen this problem on this type of a unit before, but it kinda sounds like your system might be shorting out or getting overloaded. If the battery failed and not the AC connection, it might be your systemboard that is flaking out. I say send it in and get it fixed.
