    Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and having the following issue.

    Problem:

I recently bought a battery for my notebook from ebay which died after first charge, since it was still under warranty, the seller(powerseller with 4000+ feedbacks) replaced it and sent another. Now the problem is, my notebook cannot seem to boot merely on the battery. The power supply is working fine and it can boot via it but not through the battery.

I unplug the power supply once the system has completely started and the battery works fine then. It can hold charge of nearly 2 hours. Any help regarding this scenario will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

P.S. The battery is compatible with the model/series.

You should send it back again. This battery isn't working like you expected it to work, just like your previous battery. I think the battery isn't able to provide the wattage needed for the high power drain during startup. Ask your money back and buy a battery from another reseller or demand a new battery.
