i am thinking of getting the zv5464 unit, its specs are
    AMD 64 3400, 512mb, 60gb (4200rpm), 15.4" (brightview screen), 64mb go 440 graphics, wifi(b/g), bluetooth and 5in1 memory card reader.

i know its being replaced soon, but the price i am getting for the Zv5464 seems good (£899) and getting a targus case and optical mouse thrown in.

what you think???... does the Zv5464 have a good spec or should i wait for the new Zv6000???...

i'm not heavy user, all i really do is surf the net, some word processing and lite gaming i.e. Colin McRae racing, Return to castle wolfverstien and Tiger woods golf.

The zv6000 has a better (but still low-end) GPU (if you get the version with 128MB dedicated memory at least) and probably one of the newer 90nm Athlon 64's (a bit lower power consumption under full CPU load, not much difference while idle)... otherwise, there's not much difference between the two. If you can get a good price on a zv5000z variant like the zv5464 and don't need the better GPU, take it. They're quoting mid-May delivery times for the zv6000 here in America, dunno when they'll be available on your side of the pond.
