hey guys i need some help here.
a few programs are screwed up.

one is windows media player. i cant sync anything to my mp3 player even though its detected. i cant see my playlists when i click on the name on the left side of the library tab.

the other is firefox. when i launch it a messege comes up saying that a security component could not be initialized. i have no idea what this means.

system restore will not work as all the restore points are set after the problems have occured. i have a windows anytime upgrade disc if that means anything. my OS is vista home premium.

any help at all would b greatle appreciated.

First of all try to uninstall your MP3 device and uninstall the Firefox. Then make a restart and install both again. Good luck!

ok so we know what we have to do now. we can try three things

    1. leave Firefox installed go to c:/programfiles/moxillafirefox. then go to defaults then profiles and delete everything in that folder then open Firefox if that doesn't work

    2. completely uninstall Firefox then go to c:/programfiles and delete the whole Mozilla Firefox folder.

    3. if that doesn't work try uninstalling it and using a registry cleaner such as ccleaner from here http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
run that it will get ride of Firefox from the registry then reinstall and hopefully that will work.
