    I am a chinese,Now it is very difficult for me to buy dv8000t or dv5000t,i phone the hp to ship alaptop for me ,but they refused.

    oooops!!what a pity,Do you know when the dv8000t or dv5000t of hp can be retail in China ??

    The irony is that they're built in Shanghai, probably by Compal (my zv5000z was, I can't find anything identifying who built my dv8000z)...

    You could try emailing Compal and see if they can tell you where to buy from. Maybe you can get them to tell you what HP's plans are for the Turion X2, and if they do, please let us know :D. (AMD's unofficial launch date is May 9th.) If HP offers decent Turion X2 configurations you'll definitely want that over the Core Duo.
