Bioshock is very graphic heavy. I tried running it and it ran very good for like 5 min then it started getting choppy

Can you give more details than that? A review on the front page said it ran smoothly at 1024x768 on high.

I think I remember hearing about problems running Bioshock due to the ATI card not working well with it. Supposedly, some new drivers were supposed to come out that fixed that problem, but I don't remember hearing about them. Perhaps they're the new 7.9 Catalyst drivers? I don't know because I can't install them due to XP Pro

Gaming drivers for Vista just are not up to par with XP gaming drivers. I think there's like a 20% sag or something. Plus XP is less strain on the system, so you can get away with just 1 GB of RAM instead of the 2 GB that Vista needs to game smoothly.

20%?? Where did You get this number from??
At the mo, DX10 drivers and in general graphic drivers for Vista are still in the exploring phase so we can expect some improvement yet since Vista consumes much more resources it's been told that the performance wont never be better than XP. Shame that DX10 doesnt work with XP.

It is a shame that DX10 doesn't work with XP, and you know that Microsoft won't make a patch for it because they want everybody to move to Vista.

Hehe. I wonder how much money theve got from RAM producers/companies as Vista needs a lot more of it to run smoothly, cheeky bastards ;)

I've heard graphic driver support under XP is not great. Is it possible to take the latest XP Radeon drivers from ATI and mod them to work with the 2600? Isn't that what people have done with Vista?
