    hi guys, i am a proud owner of the HDX16, who just ran into a stupid problem.

    i accidentially plug the HDX using my other Dell laptop ac adapter. I was playing game with for like 2.5 hour when the computer just died, then i realized i was using the wrong dell adapter which is hot as hell.

    i plug my HP adapter to the HDX but now it has no response. did i burn out just my batter or the whole computer is fried?

    any input would be very helpful.

    Remove the battery and power it with the adapter alone. If it doesn't respond you probably fried the power circuitry on the mobo.
