    When i close my notebook aim signs off, when i open it i see it sign back on.
    How do i keep aim signed on when i close my notebook.

    Go into AIM preferences, set it so that it doesn't auto sign off when notebook goes to sleep, or idle.

    its the new aim and its a pain in the ass i cant find it

    and i dont know how to use the webcam with it it keeps saying that i have another program running thats using it.

    sine your in te hp forums i guess you have an hp try this version of aim its a special version of 6.1 for hp users. before i had this installed i couldn't get aim video to work my blue light next to my webcam wouldn't turn on, but after i uninstalled the aim i was using, and installed this one it worked prefect.

    thanks that helped with one problem now to solve the problem about shutting the laptop and the aim logging off
