I am planning to buy one, however I am considering on some of the main issues that people have been talking about.
    1. Heat
    2. Plastic build
So how do you guys owner of this notebook think about this? Is this really the big main issue for the notebook??

    1. Gets hot if you use it on your lap after a while, and the paml rests get a bit warm after a while, but it's not dangerously hot.
    2. Plastic is great. I'm not scared to hold the laptop by a corner even.

I bought this laptop for my son for college. It's a nice unit and love the swiveling screen. I usually place the exhaust outlet on the top side because it does get almost hot but has improved after the updates I installed someone recommended from Microsoft. The touch writing screen is passive and not an active digilizer. Have to tweak the way you write. Overall it's an okay unit, not stellar. Performance is not much difference from other laptops if it uses the same CPU (AMD).
