This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     apostrophe / quote key on my dv1000

    i dont know if this is normal.. but when i press the apostrophe or quote key (key beside enter), the character does not appear right away. it will only appear when the next key is pressed. anybody else experience this? and how do i set it so when i press the apostrophe key, the character appears right away..
