    apple headphones with remote control???

    is there any way to make the remote control on my headphones work with my hp envy 14?

    i mean, can i manage the volume with the remote control of my headphones? is there any driver o software to make this work?

    one more question, can i make the f11, PAUSE key work with my iTunes so that i can pause the music with that key??

    I know they work with newer macs but its not about software or drivers, its the headphone/microphone jack of the system that has to be able to take the input.

    I know if you have headphone + mic combo they work. But yes, highly doubtful you could get the remote to work.

    As for mapping of keys, there are ways to edit the registry this is something a google search will solve for you.

    For the iTunes thing, I use HKTunes and ctrl + [left, right, down] to switch songs / pause
