    audio output on HDMI (DV2700t)

    Hey guys,
    I have dv2700t, with geforce 8400gs, I have it connected to a vizio hdtv by hdmi. I am watching a movie on it, it's outputting the video, but the computer speakers are still transmitting the audio. What's the deal?

    By the way what is the size and resolution of the vizio hdtv ?

    At what video quality are you watching ie 720,1080i or 1080p ?

    Which model of dv2700t are you using ?

    that digital output is not working, for some reason i justhave spdif.

    Yes that is digital output. Right click it and click Set As Default Device, Right click it again and click Test, you should hear chimes comming out the TV. Now restart the program your using

    Hey guys, problem was, after I changed it to the spdif it was still playing sound through the regular speakers. Well I fixed that. Just had to disable computer speakers. Awesome. My poor hd dvd drive works great.

    The tv is Vizio 20 inch. It's perfect for my current location (the desert).

    My DV2700t is a CTO. I am outputting to 1080i

    I noticed that you do a dual boot with Ubuntu. I was wondering if you had any problems with the HDMI and linux.
