Do you mean you're getting just under 3 hours, or that it's lasting significantly less?

Generally speaking, 2.5 to 3 hours of battery life is considered to be generally pretty good, especially if you don't have a laptop specifically designed for long battery life.

If you're getting just under 3 hours, like Zadillo said, you're fine.

What processor do you have? Unfortunately for these types of mainstream notebooks, 2-3 hours is the norm actually, you may want to think about getting an extended battery.

3 hours is quite good for a normal battery. If you need more battery life, you could consider an extended battery, or a modular battery.

I would love to get two hours! ;) Of course, I like a full-bright screen, too.

on a celeron m thats pretty good since it runs at full speed all the time, unless you are using a 8 cell or larger battery.
