    battery life of v3000 vs v2000 series

    Hi
    Is there any difference b/w the battery life of 3000 and 2000 series laptops,having the same specs.In that case which one is better.

    Both use 6 and 12 cell batteries. Their battery life with the 6 cell is fairly similar from 2:30 to 2:50 depending on the configuration. The 12 cell more than doubles that - 5:30 to 6h.
    The v3000 series is better as it uses the newest CPUs, HDD, integrated GPU, RAM, etc.

    V3000 only provides 4000mAh battery. :eek:verheat: So bad I can't have 4400mAh battery as my ML-37 does.

    you're still lucky to have gotten the bigger 6 cell. I have the smaller :(

    mine last for about 2:30 with wifi on and the screen two steps above minimum brightness.
