    battery problem

    I am having a battery problem with my compaq laptop. its been happening for only a day..but when i have plugged it into the charger it gives me this 0%available (plugged in, not charging) thing when i go and point on the battery icon in the icon tray. what could be causing this problem?

    anyone? i would like to know if its not the battery but maybe some setting i have it on..cause the lappy is only a couple weeks old.

    yes the battery works. and r schumacher i have had it plugged in all night and no changes. is there some setting that isn't right..or what could possibly be the problem?

    okay..i just got it working again...all i did was unplug the charger..the computer shutdown..seems there was no battery left from not charging..i started it up again..and now its charging...loopy thing..lol. well hope this works if i keep having the problem i'm comin back for help..lol
