my pressario v6000 kept losing time so i changed the rtc battery, as detailed in the hp site video, it defaulted to 01/06/2006 00:00:00, i change it back to current date and time in the bios and save the changes, in windows vista home sp1 it is correct, then i power down the laptop and next it it has defaulted again.
any ideas? i tried to update the bios but it says its for the wrong laptop, its not!
please could someone help me out.
    thanks
    Quinn
