This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    many threads are about webcams, many solutions were presented but mine still isnt working after trying all the solutions.....except, i installed webcam 1,3MP driver version 1.00A from www.hp.com and it works when i want to preview webcam via hp pavilion icon or something else, but when i want to make a video call after i finish the call and then check the web cam it is not working!!! could it be something wrong with xp?? i installed all the hotfixes mentioned before at this forum, still nothing..... anyway, how can I check if it is chicony or ricoh???

    Should show up on the hardware device on device manager.
