    blue tooth not working

    so right now im trying to connect my phone to my comp with blue tooth. when i click the bluetooth network icon nothing happens. like it just doesnt run... do u know whats wrong?

    oh and btw theres this icon that says blue tooth network, a network cable has been unplugged..

    It sounds like you have bluetooth disabled. Make sure the wireless switch is turned on on the notebook, and that bluetooth is enabled within the HP wireless assistant.

    One small thing...

    The phone may be bluetooth, but you must turn on the BT option on the phone or it will not produce a signal for the HP to pickuip.

    im sorry but how would i know if i have bluetooth?

    wireless connection is on but no bluetooth tray icon?

    I have HP Pavilion dv6000.I have my wireless light showing blue but my bluetooth is disabled and almostevery 30 seconds i got a message appearing on my screen saying "one of the USB attched to this computer has malfunctioned and the window does not regonised it.For assistance to solving this problem click this message".Could anybody help me solved this message and help enable my bluetooth .
