Looking @ V2000 (to buy) and already own a HP 5000z. I'm wondering if V2000 or any cheaper (HP OR COMPAQ) notebook (under 1000) can boot from an external device, say a USB Flash Drive?

I know its kind of stupid, but i've always wondered why you have to buy an IBM to be able to do this.

    ANyone?
