    Last week i got my personalised laptop (dv8000z) from costco.com... (400 dollar cheaper) It has a sticker on the back of the notebook with product HP pav dv8000. And in the system information I read product name Pavilion dv8000 . Do I still got the dv8000z or did they made a mistake.

    That is how HP labels all their laptops. They always leave out the last letter for some strange reason.
