    brightview recommended!

    I received my zx5000 yesterday with brightview screen. I love this LCD feature, and highly recommend it. I've got pics of it below. Screen is exceptionally clear. I was even able to lower the brightness (-50) to conserve battery. It's still very bright even at this brightness level.

    as for glare, yes there is some, but since the screen is so clear you don't even notice it. You can even see the blinds in one of the pics, but when actually sitting in front of the laptop you don't notice them. The clarity and such outweigh the glare anyday.

    I agree, there's nothing like a widescreen notebook with brightview (or ultrabrite/clearview and whatever else a specific manufacturer is calling their enhanced screens). They're great for viewing DVDs. The look is a little different and the reflective properties are stronger but personally I'm not bothered by it and don't notice it.

    i also agree 100%, Brightview is the best type of screen for the $. I couldnt be happier with mine.
