    heading to hong kong soon. should i get one now or get it over there a power adaptor to use there. anybody have a link?

    laptop is a tx1000z, i'm bringing my most portable lappy.

    Just a wall plug adapter. That's it. You may find one in the US before leaving. Or one in an electronic store there that accepts US based plugs.
    Otherwise your laptop is ready to get 100V-240V directly with the power adaptor.

    Compusa sell them and they have everything on sale in the store 40 - 70%off. The ones in NYC atleast

    i wouldn't bother with them they dont take returns. all sales are final for their clearance. i mean ever when the store is closing they still have to screw their customers.
