i have a couple of the white plastic pieces that hold on the keys on the keyboard that are broken. i contacted HP and they responded that i need to ship in the laptop to fix which i think is horse **** because its an easy fix if they just supply the plastic pieces. I not gonna send it in cause its kinda worthless to do that. Is there somewhere that i can buy these?

No there isn't, unless you can get one of these keyboards. Those plastic pieces are not sold by HP, they only sell the completed products (keyboards). I'd recommend just sending the unit in to get it fixed under warranty. If you really need your system, see if they can ship just the keyboard to you since it's an easy swap. Most cases, HP considers these as user damage and not even cover it, so if you have the option, I'd take it. It costs over $100 to get a new replacement keyboard (non-warranty).

Gotta agree with you on this one, sucks to send away the computer for something that can be repaired so easily. Unfortunatly it would cost HP hoards of money to setup their system to ship out every single little part on the notebook instead of the main parts or servicing it for issues like this and therefore drive up the price of the notebook.

The keyboards are not difficult to replace yourself anyways, you could have tried to get us to send a keyboard to you instead(it only takes about 2 business days for shipping parts like this).
