    Reinstall the quicklaunch button drivers and the quickplay software.

    What is your notebook model??
    If the problem is in Remote control only, then you can reinstall the QL buttons program, since it contains the remote drivers too, or you can manually download and install them separately. Just search ITE 8305 CIR for remote control drivers.
