I picked this up pretty cheap and it should arrive this week....I got a couple P4 M chips at the house...wondered if this laptop can be upgraded....

It was cheap....too cheap to pass up....I was originally going to get a T43 IBM or something in the "T" line

    Yes it's upgradable.
I had one of these a month ago and I also had 5 spare intel M chips layin around.
I was able to put a 1.4Ghz in it and it worked.
I think you can go up to 2.13GHz with that model.

Your laptop use Pentium M CPUs not Pentium 4M.

Your best option is to buy a Pentium M725 (1.6Ghz) or Pentium M735 (1.7Ghz), and then pin mod them to 2.13Ghz and 2.26Ghz respectiveky.

This a tutorial on how to do it:

Pentium M760 (2Ghz), M770 (2.13ghz) and M780 (2.26Ghz) are very expensive to buy even second hand.
