    can i reduce x3100 shared memory ?

    I don't need that memory taken by the x3100 from ram can i reduce from windows for ex. can i make it take only 128MB from RAM/.

    You can try looking in the BIOS and see if there's an option for the amount of shared memory. I know my IGP has such an option.

    But if it doesn't, then that means the OS manages the ram amount as it sees fit. So while in the desktop it will only use the minimum (say 32mb) and only when you play a game will it take more.

    So don't worry about it if you can't change it, the OS will only take the minimum amount possible when you're not gaming.
