i had to cancel my order and purchase a dell because of the requirements for my school and the fact that i got a great laptop from my college for next to nothing. Thanks for everyone's help in this forums, sorry i cannot do the review that i had promised for this notebook!

    Good Luck!

Dell D620: Intel® Core™ Duo T2400 (1.83GHz), 256MB NVIDIA® Quadro NVS 110M, 2GB 667, 80GB 7200rpm with the WXGA+ and 9 cell battery all for $1400. It offers great build quality, decent graphics for my uses, portibility and crazy security. Also, the wifi finder will be great for on campus! it just makes more sense, even the the DV2000z is SOOO tempting... i had to go this route. It also looks really professional, and looks are worth somthing to me considering im a marketing major.

actually, you would be suprised... i played BF2 on my friends with no problem. It was actually pretty good. We will have the exact same set up and it worked quite nicely.

Outside of BF2 and occasional other things i will never play games. Games with me less than 5% of this sysems use so quality does really matter, i have a desktop for that.

Im still disapointed i couldn't go with the dv2000, although that would be even worse gaming, the style of that computer is unbeatable. And the screen is just beautiful, but what are you gunna do?
