    hi guys, i have a compaq nc6000 and after my battery died with no reason, now my cdrom light stays on all the time. Any ideea on how to fix this ?

    If you are not having any problems, I wouldn't worry about it. You could contact HP and have them send you a new one if it still under warranty.
