Does anyone here calibrate the screen for the laptop? Are we supposed too? If so, what are we supposed to use.

I use the Huey Pro, seems to work fine. Downside is that most of the notebook screens are low on brightness in the first place and this only makes it worse. Another issue is white/black crush, I.E. blown whites sometimes on the screen which are not blown in the Photoshop histogram. Contrast ratios are lower on notebook screens too I think. Nothing I have seen in an notebook LCD can match a good old CRT for accurate contrast, color and brightness, including Tosh Dual lamps which I did own and calibrated.

I'd say try it and see how you like it, you can always delete the profile and go back to stock settings.
