This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     compaq GC60 - no power

    Hi,
    I have a Compaq GC60.
    when I switch it on, the power and wireless buttons light up, the screen stays black, the hard drive blinks uniformly twice every couple of seconds, but that is it. No boot screen, nothing. you can hear the fan going.

    I thought it was the motherboard and replaced it, but still it is the same.

    Any ideas people?
