Hi there im new this forum, but i would love if anyone would like to help me in this problem im having. I just purchased this used laptop from my friend which is a compaq Evo N600c and knew about this problem. I was sure i could fix it so i got this laptop at a great deal

so anyways my laptop has no sound. The only way i get the sound is if i put headphones half way in then the speakers will work fine. And if i put the
headphones all the way in only one ear piece gives sound.

so does anyone know how do i go about by fixing it? and how much its going to cost?

    thanks! :)
