    got a compaq sr1500n2 just wont boot up or even turn the monitor on when i power it up just keeps beeping intermittently

    I think those beeps are alarm beeps,does it beep in a specific pattern,maybe memory problem.try reseating memory modules and see if that fixes it.
    Could also be a heat problem,does your fan come on at all!!!.
