    were can i find the antennae cables in my compaq inspiron R3116EA laptop? i have already input the mini pci tvtuner but i dont know were to find the wires

    Not 100% sure about your particular laptop, but most antennae cables run behind the LCD screen, here's a picture of were mine is, I guess yours would be much the same, it's #6. It runs down the back of the LCD and down through to connect to the Wlan as shown in the picture. Is this what you're after?

    If your notebook didn't come with WiFi it didn't come with antennas either. You'll need to buy those and install them. That's what I did when I refurbished a very low-end V2000z.
