    compaq presario cq50 108nr overheating

    So my laptop has started to overheat quickly and i dont think the fan is working because i dont hear it come on and then when it gets hot the laptop shuts off it gets hot around the top left corner of the laptop any help would be appreciated

    Have you tried cleaning the dust out of the vents and fan?
