    compaq presario cq50 battery very hot.

    well when i charge my battery not only does my fan speed up, heat up, and so does my charger, the brick heats up or w.e it feals like it could set something on fire if left for a long time, should i worry? or is this normal in all laptops? (this is for the charger)

    Well, it will be drawing some extra power to recharge the battery, but even so it shouldn't get hot enough to possibly set a fire. Have you contacted support to see about a replacement charger?

    no i havnt, but right now at this moment it is verry cool and im charging my batterie (its at 100%) but when its actually charging, it gets verry hot and it burns me when it touches skin. so ill go on their site tomarrow and use the online chat session.
