    compaq presarioV5000 cd/dvd rw drive problems

    my computer doesnt always recognize it as a dvd drive it sometimes only recognizes it as a cd drive. i try to burn a dvd using pinnacle studios software and windows will only recognize the dvd disks put in my drive as cds any body have this problem or have a solution
