My friend and I both bought dv9000t, one from costco, one from techdepot.
We have the exactly same spec, Core 2 Due 5500 + 2gb RAM. We even have
same version of BIOS and video card. (Both notebook arrive last week.)

    But we notice some difference:
-Costco dv9000t's idle CPU temp is 26 C, while techdepot dv9000t's idle CPU temp is about 38 C.(We get the temp from RMClock, both notebook are idle and not running anything in background). I can't explain why is this?!
    - Costco's hard drive is Fujitsu MHV2080BH, which is very quiet . Techdepot's hard drive is Seagate st98823as which generate more noticeable noise.
    - Techdepot's keyboard got some problem with "PGUP PGDN * -" key, when we click these key, it generate loud click sound. Looks like keyboard problem in that area. Cost's keyboard is perfect.
    - Techdepot's dv9000t has High Pitched Noise. But Costco's version is pretty quite. (They have the exact same RM CLOCK's setting)

In short, Costco's dv9000t is perfect notebook without any problem. But techdepot's dv9000t got some problem and we are going to exchange it.
(Techdepot offer 200 rebate and free printer, that's why we buy it from them.)

Maybe we are just unlucky to get dv9000t with all those problems, but I also
wonder if HP build lower quality dv9000t to techdepot?!(that's why tey offer 200 rebate!?) Is that possible? We get $200 off but now we are going to pay the shipping of return/exchange and go through the trouble.
