hey everyone
I've been trying to use the HP expresscard digital/analog TV tuner with HP QuickPlay 3.2, but I can't get it to recognize the signal when I use the composite cables. It works perfectly with the RF Coaxial cable, but the composite ones just don't seem to work, and I don't see any options to set it up like the ones found on Windows Media Center (which by the way do recognize the signal from the composite cables).

Try the 3.6x version of QP. You have to look for it on the HP site. I think I found it under the general download page for the dv6500 CTO laptops. I don't recommend it for laptops with less than 2.0 processors and marginal integrated video cards (it thrashed the video card and pegged both my processors at 100%) but it looks like you have plenty of power on both fronts.
The new version offers a freshened interface if you choose one of the new skins and more options in the option menus. Maybe it has updated other areas of the code that will help you out. -
hey,
i have the very same problem with QP3.7.
did you find a solution?
