    Hi there,

I really like the HP nx9420, and close to buy one. However, when I read a review on PC PRO, a statement put me back, it said:"(the display of) the nx9420 had a noticeably grainy quality". Owners of nx9420, could you please give me some feedback on the screen quality? Is it really grainy? thanks in advance.

it's just a matter of luck. YOu can get superb screen or ****y grainy one. Me and my girlfriend bought 2 identical nc8430. I got a nice sharp screen but with white spots ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=109476&highlight=white+spots) my girl got a grainy screen with also 20% less of brightness then mine.
Anyway, we went to HP Slovenia (my country) and she allready got a new LCD, which is supercool, the way it should be in the first place... I'm waiting for mine. Good thing is that they replaced LCD's without any question... that's really cool.
Bottom line ... just a matter of luck.
