    Me too waiting for the same.. FYI The dv6000 series is already in India.
    Just saw the new dv6114TX model with T2050 processor.

    However seems HP is is no hurry to launch Core 2 duo in India. Dell already has launched Core 2 duo on XPS 1210 (58,900/-) and 9400 (65,900/-) models since Sep 1. Wonder when they will include the 15.4 model 6400 with the Core 2 duo?

    Dell India has just added the three options for Core 2 Duo to their 15.4" model 6400. Check it out.
