for some reason other models seem to stutter around. i don't think its lag as all pings are under 100. i know that the 6770m can run this game with no problem, and I am getting a constant 60fps with vsync enabled. it is a very weird issue. has anyone else had it? could it be a setting in CCC that I accidentally enabled?

Just by looking at your hardware it is not a hardware issue but it could possibly a driver error or something you did in your game. The easiest solution would to reset all settings to default and if that fails reinstall the game.
If none of those work try searching for updated drivers for your gpu.

i remember that CS Source used to feel sluggish for me when I had the newer drivers installed. It ran the smoothest when I had the stock HP drivers...problem was that I had a higher fps uin SC 2 ran ith the newer drivers. I noticed the same issue with Heroes of Newerth, I got much higher FPS with the stock HP drivers than I did with the newer drivers...it seems the older games worked better with the stock drivers. Maybe you could test that out, good luck
