    I see on hp.com core 2 duo available in their desktop are they going to show up in notebooks soon?

    That depends on how quickly Intel ramps up their C2D production. It's going slowly so far, and Apple gets first dibs. Plus there's the old Core Duo inventory to burn off.

    I hear August 28th is the day Merom is supposed to be available. So September is probably when you will see laptops with the C2D.
