I have the dv6t 6100 Quad Edition 2nd Generation Intel Core i7 Mobile Processor (Spring 2011). I have done a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate however I forgot to copy down everything from my Device Manager.

I've purchased a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard but am unsure which Bluetooth driver to install. When I look in Device Manager there are no yellow "!" in my Device Manager but I know that doesn't always mean something as the fingerprint scanner didn't show up in Device Manager until I installed it.

Can someone please assist me with this? Thanks

After countless hours of looking for the Bluetooth driver and software that would work, I stumbled accross my old receipt for this laptop. I looked over the details and what did I find?

" Intel 802.11b/g/n WLAN with Wireless Display Support "

Looks like I'll be picking up a bluetooth adapter tomorrow. False alarm guys, case closed.

Also, apparently keeping the bluetooth usb plugged in during bootup causes the laptop to hang with a black screen, removing the bluetooth allows windows to finally boot. this is a known bios issue and COULD be fixed with an update... time will tell.
