Hi, I'm trying to find out if my zd7000 would support ddr400 ram. I know it should work, but I just want to know if it won't underclock it to 333mhz (what it currently has).

The specs that I have listed show the max speed for DDR would be 333. You can purchase and use 400 without a problem, so go with whatever is cheaper to do.

FYI, I'm also showing that the laptop can support 2GB max.

It will accept ddr400 memory, but it will like you said downclock it to 333.

But what you can do is use A64Tweaker and force the ram to 400.

This has worked for many people, myself included.

Well, ddr400 is only 3 bucks more, so I guess I'm gonna go for that and try that tweaker. If it doesn't work I can always stick to 333mhz.
    Thanks a lot guys!!!
