If you decide to purchase an Envy or any HP for that mater be sure to check there web site every day for the 21day return period for price protection.
I order the Envy and just noticed it went on sale with a promo code that dropped the price $400, That is $140 less than I paid, but since I'm 2 day longer than the 21 day period I'm out the refund.
Don't let this happen to you!
If you know a way for me to get the refund please post

No need to make a new thread about the $400 coupon. Everyone pretty much knows about this. It's in the owner's lounge and in other parts of notebook review forum.

As per your situation, try calling them. I don't think you even tried. There's no way anyone can help you unless you've tried something yourself first. Otherwise, we're all shooting in the dark.

Post wasn't about that particular coupon but to note to the price match period. With the price changing so often if like me you dont check you may loose out.
I called to no avail before I posted.

    Did you say things like,

"I've been a long time customer of HP. I've bought x desktops and x notebooks from you guys".

Usually that works before you try to get something out of them. You need to talk like you're their best customer and that losing you would be very bad for them. Furthermore, you need to say things like, "I need you to..." because that empowers the person on the other end and gives them a sense of importance. This is just some psychology. Try this out.

Thanks, Metril. I may try that myself. My Envy is still in the 21-day period. I received $200 off, so now I don't feel so bad. I do know that when I called about that coupon, they offered me $180 off my old Envy that I canceled anyway because they were unable to amend the configuration as I wanted.
