    did anybody ever get rage to run smoothly on the 6770?

    I know there was an older thread over this, but it seems that no one ever found a solution for getting rage to run on our rigs smoothly. I tried multiple drivers with no luck. Anybody able to get it to run smoothly and not crash every 15min?

    After successfully installing the newest 11.10 drivers for some reason Catalyst control center isn't showing up on my pc. I tried uninstalling and re installing but it's still not showing up.

    Should I just install an older version of catalyst?

    and yes, i'v updated my bios to the manual graphics a while ago.

    Right now i'm just trying to find the right drivers.

    Starplaya, when you installed 11.10, did you make sure to install the display driver only? Installing other components such as the control center can cause problems since switchable graphics isn't officially supported by ATI.

    Also, Rage continues to keep crashing for me.

    ^ i have no problem keeping the switchable component even after i've installed latest CCC.

    Mine crash after opening intro..any advice?

    Did a clean install Official 11.10 final on top of HP ATI driver.

    I was able to get passed the opening scene just with the rage performance drivers, but I could never play for more than 20 min straight without it crashing and it was constantly glitching.

    Now with official 11.10 driver everything is blue and crashing in 1 sec after loading.

    I'm pretty much fed up with this game and it's developers... Carmack can go.....i better keep quiet.

    Anyways. Maybe we'll finally be able to play it in a year or two.
