For all those complaining about your computer or mainboard manufacturer, try looking up the specs before you bad mouth HP or others. Even though the Intel GM965 chipset supports a 800MHz FSB, it only supports a 667MHz Memory Bus. If you're unlucky enough to have the GL960, you're limited to 533MHz all around.

but it will run at low latency. :) Am I right?

Fact: It will run at 667MHz, unless you have that cheaper chipset as mentioned.

same reply here, you will not get it to work as 800mhz module.

but you can run it with 667 mhz. since there are no big differences in price it´s ok to buy it, and since it´s downclocked it will be a very stable, fast and reliable DDR2 - 667mhz module. and most likely it will be running in low latency. could tell you about the timings of my ocz-800mhz module in a few minutes. ;)

Not sure if you are asking about the intel based ones or the AMD based ones, but the AMD based ones should support it as long as they are the 65nm turions. Even if you are forced to 667 it's worth picking up 800 modules as it's dead easy to overclock the HTT to 250 in ntune and run the memory at 800. I had to go through 4 sets of 667 sodimms to find ones stable overclocked at that speed with standard timings, the turions I have have no problems running at 2ghz (TL-50) and 2.5ghz (TL-60) even when I'm undervolting more than .1v at full speed. 800mhz sodimm's werent available readily when I did it, wish I could have just bought those instead :)
