    any difference other than the color scheme?
    Similar configuration seems the special edition cost about $70 more..
    Am I just paying for the look?

    Well you also get a "free" matching mouse and stereo headset.

    To be honest, I got my Special Edition Verve cuz it looked better lol. I don't know exactly how much but it was somewhere close to $100.

    And if you want to get all scientific about it, a white notebook absorbs less heat if you're working outside, aha.
