the display on my notebook goes blank for a second and then comes back, kind of like refreshing, earlier it used to happen very frequently then i got it replaced as it was under warranty, but with the new display the problem is still there, just that it does not happen that often. can it be the drivers or something??please help.

    config:
    core duo 1.72ghz
    1gb ram
    nvidia go 7400

i have installed all the latest drivers from the hp website...

try setting all the setting to deafult in the nvidia controls
it can usually be found on you task bar if it is enabled
    or in the control panel
it may be a problem with the refrest rate
