    hey guys,

does anyone know if it works to put dm4 beats backlit keyboard in the dm4-3001tx which has a non backlit keyboard? it's exactly the same keyboard, just the backlit is the differance

does anyone has experiences with it? saw the backlit keyboard can be ordered as a spare part for 65 dollars

Yes, the power connection is there. You might want to check for yourself; it is only one screw holding it in.

    HI,

yeah it worked out like a charm, i used the maintenance manual provided by hp and was able to change the non backlit to the backlit keyboard withing 15-20 minutes :) I also have the 1600x900 resolution screen and the necessary cable here, but didn't have time to assemble the screen yet
